Since I wanted to know more & read more, i decided to TRY and read at LEAST 12 books for this year! yey! :)

January 19, 2012: Game of Thrones by George RR Martin

Primarily read this because of the TV Series currently in HBO! Woot. People are so demn hot sexy and lovable and well, waiting for the next series i got impatient so I opted to read the book! It was a great book, real gripping and heartbreaking at times. though nothing surprised me much as to what was going to happen next - since the series really stuck to the essence of the book down to the lines! But still i kept on praying that some of the characters didn't die :( Huhuhu

Favorite Characters:

Deny Targaryen - was first lost but grew up to find her way - became strong fierce and brave. idol! i know the author has big plans for her!

Khal Drogo - the savage with a heart. <3 spoiler but i kept hoping he'd suddenly come back to life :( and still am.

Arya - i want to have a daughter like her - honest, cute, very loving sister and daughter. full of conviction for such a tiny person.

Jon Snow - i love the disturb child. dark, depressed, lost & mysterious. screaming out for love and a place in the world. well jon snow, you're not alone.

Of Course, Ned. <3 noble loving father! (daddy issues...)

Anywhoodle, learnings wasn't simple.

1. Politics is a bitch "In the game of thrones, you win or you die"

2. The world will keep on testing you

3. whatever you do to try to suppress the screams that your heart is trying to let you hear - you will yield to it. In time.
